If you want straighter teeth but are scared metal braces will ruin your confidence, our Dublin Dental Room can help. There have been massive, rapid advances in the field of orthodontics during the past three decades, which means that there are now a number of discreet teeth straightening solutions available to adult patients. Your ideal treatment will depend on your clinical requirements, along with your personal preferences.
When you come into our Dublin Dental Room for an orthodontic consultation, your dentist will perform a thorough clinical examination, and will then talk you through all the relevant methods of straightening your teeth. Whether fixed braces or removable aligners are deemed best for your particular clinical situations, you can rest assured that treatment will be very subtle indeed – in many cases, friends and colleagues won’t even know you are undergoing orthodontic correction unless you actually tell them.
Dublin18 braces and aligners
The orthodontic solutions available from our Dublin Dental Room include both fixed braces and removable aligners. Whichever method you choose, orthodontic treatment will improve your dental health as well as boosting your self-confidence, because straightening your teeth makes it much easier to clean them properly.
Six Month Smiles
One of the most popular systems of cosmetic braces in the world, Six Month Smiles are made up of clear ceramic brackets and tooth-coloured nickel-titanium wires. This means they will blend in with the natural colour of your teeth.
These braces are not designed for cases of major correction of the bite, but instead work in as little as half a year to improve cosmetic issues with the social six teeth in the smile line.
Clear aligners
An alternative to braces, we offer a range of clear aligners at our Dublin Dental Room, including the popular Clear Braces system. Clear Braces aligners fit comfortably over your teeth and nudge them gently into an improved position. Treatment takes place in fortnightly increments, as you change your aligner every two weeks. You can pop them out for cleaning, which is great for maintaining dental hygiene, but should wear them for approximately 22 hours a day in order for you treatment to progress as anticipated.
