We offer same-day urgent appointments for patients who require emergency dental care, as well as 24 hour assistance through our website. If the practice is closed and you need help or advice, simply fill in the enquiry form online through our website and one of our team will get back to you as quickly as they can. This service operates 7 days a week. We also operate an emergency telephone service and any calls to the practice will be diverted to the emergency mobile for the dentist on call to answer.

Dental emergencies

Dental emergencies can happen when you least expect them and include chipped and fractured teeth, severe dental pain and dislodged teeth. If you have sudden dental pain, which is very severe, you have lost a tooth or you fear a tooth may be broken, it is best to seek urgent advice. Call the surgery and we will do our best to arrange an appointment for you as quickly as possible and relieve your pain. We can also offer self-help advice, such as applying an ice pack to the tooth or taking over the counter pain relief to make you feel more comfortable in the meantime.

If you’ve lost a tooth in an accident or while playing sport, it may be possible for us to save the tooth and secure it back into its socket. Call ahead and get to us as quickly as you can and our dental team will do their best to re-implant the tooth. While you make your way to us, place the tooth in a glass of milk or hold it carefully between the gum and the cheek; this helps to keep the tooth moist.
